Stroller and Carry-On Strategy
Strollers
Most airlines allow strollers gate-side until boarding. On arrival, your stroller is sent to baggage claim (where standard checked luggage arrives). Bali Fast Tracks greeters retrieve strollers from carousel and reunite the family at the carousel within 4 minutes — you don't have to wait alone with tired children.
Car seats
Indonesian law requires child restraint for ages 0–4. The Premium ($500) and VVIP ($1,500) tiers include car seat installation in your transfer vehicle. Confirm child age, weight, and seat type at booking. We provide rear-facing for infants and forward-facing convertibles for toddlers/young children.
Multiple carry-on items
Greeters bring porter trolleys for carry-on consolidation. Parents carrying children + diaper bag + strollers + tablets can hand off everything to the greeter for the immigration walk.
Practical Tactics for the Process
Bring entertainment for the brief wait
Even with fast track, there's a 1–2 minute wait at the immigration counter while the officer processes. Have a phone with downloaded video or a small toy to occupy young children.
Time your child's snack
If your child is hungry as you land, they'll be cranky through the process. Time the in-flight snack so they're satiated for the ~10 minutes between deplaning and exiting.
Use the lounge for toilet stops
The lounge has clean family bathrooms and changing facilities. A 30-minute lounge stop with toilet break, snack, and rest is far better than rushing to the hotel.
Coordinate with grandparents in advance
If you're meeting at the arrival hall, share the greeter's photo and contact details with both ends so everyone knows what to expect.

Bring adoption documentation for any potential immigration questions. Premium tier agents are trained on family documentation edge cases.

Some immigration officers ask for parental authorisation letter. Bring a notarised letter from parents giving travel permission for the child.
Single parent travelling with children
Some destinations require notarised letter from the absent parent. Indonesia is generally relaxed but check current requirements before flying.
What If Things Go Wrong
Child gets sick on the plane
Greeter helps escort to medical room (DPS has a clinic) before continuing the process. Bali Fast Tracks operations team can also help arrange in-Bali medical care if needed during your stay.
Child has meltdown in queue
Greeters carry small comfort items (stickers, sweets if age-appropriate). Pace can pause briefly. The diplomatic lane is calmer and quieter than the standard queue, which helps.
Family separated by gate exit
Greeter recombines the family at the immigration entrance. Greeters know to wait for stragglers.
Lost child in airport
Stay calm. Airport security has CCTV throughout. Notify greeter immediately; they have radio contact with airport security. Most reunifications happen within 5–10 minutes.
