Step 2: Aerobridge Meeting

As your aircraft doors open at Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), a Bali Fast Tracks greeter is waiting on the jet bridge holding a sign with your name and the company logo. The greeter:

  • Confirms your identity (passport name match)
  • Verifies your flight number on the manifest
  • Confirms your service tier and any add-ons
  • Begins escorting you immediately — bypassing the cabin queue

If your flight uses a remote stand

Some flights (typically smaller aircraft or peak-hour overflow) park at remote stands and bus passengers to the terminal. In this case the greeter waits at the gate exit holding the same sign. Total time delta: +3 minutes vs jet-bridge meeting.

Real-time flight tracking

We monitor your flight via the airline's data feed from 24 hours before scheduled arrival. Delays of any length, gate changes, and diversions are tracked automatically. Greeters reposition without you needing to take any action — they will be there when you land regardless of original schedule.

Step 3: Priority Immigration Lane

The greeter escorts you to the diplomatic / VIP immigration counter. This is a sanctioned lane operated by Indonesian immigration in formal cooperation with PT Angkasa Pura I (the airport operator) and licensed tour operators.

What happens at the counter

  1. Officer scans your passport biometric chip
  2. Officer verifies your VOA (if applicable — pre-approved for Premium/VVIP)
  3. Officer takes biometric fingerprints (standard for all Indonesian arrivals)
  4. Officer stamps your passport with arrival date

Average stamp time

90 seconds at the diplomatic counter. The standard line at the same hour averages 45–90 minutes during peak windows (10:00–13:00 and 22:00–01:00).

4

Step 4: Luggage and Customs Hand-Off

Luggage retrieval

The greeter walks you to baggage claim and identifies your luggage carousel. They monitor for your bags as they appear and assist with retrieval. Total time at carousel: 3–5 minutes for international flights.

Customs declaration

If you have items to declare (commercial goods, large amounts of currency, plants/seeds, etc.), the greeter walks you through the customs declaration line. For most leisure travellers, you walk through the green channel (nothing to declare) — total time: 1 minute.

Driver hand-off

The greeter delivers you to your driver at the arrival hall pickup zone, or to your family if they are waiting. For Premium/VVIP customers, the luxury vehicle transfer is pre-positioned within walking distance of the customs exit.

Total time

5–8 minutes from aircraft door to arrival hall exit. Compare with 60–120 minutes during peak windows on the standard flow.

Variations by Service Tier

Tier 1 Essential — what's different

Same 4-step process. No VOA processing (you must have e-VOA pre-approved or queue at VOA counter alone). No lounge access. No vehicle transfer included — you arrange your own driver.

Tier 2 Premium — what's added

Pre-arrival e-VOA submission (we file on your behalf 12 hours before flight). On arrival, IDR 500,000 government VOA fee already paid. Premier or Saphire Lounge access for 3 hours. Luxury car transfer included to your hotel zone.

Tier 3 VVIP — what's added

Everything in Premium PLUS: round-trip service (we also handle your departure with same process), priority baggage delivery, complimentary Bali SIM card, and personal concierge follow-up during your stay.

The Departure Process (for round-trip / Tier 3 VVIP)

  1. Curb-side meeting

Greeter meets you at the international or domestic departure terminal entrance.

  2. Priority airline check-in

Escort to the airline's premium / business check-in counter.

  3. Diplomatic-priority immigration

Same diplomatic lane used on arrival.

  4. Fast-track security and gate escort

Priority security lane, then walk to gate or pre-flight lounge.

Total departure time: typically 10 minutes from curb to gate, vs 60–90 minutes during peak departure waves.

What Could Go Wrong (and How We Handle It)

Flight delayed by 6+ hours

We monitor in real time and reposition the greeter team. No additional fee. If you choose to cancel because of delay, we refund or reschedule at your discretion.

Flight diverted to Surabaya / Lombok

We can dispatch a greeter to alternate airport (subject to feasibility) or refund/reschedule. Communicated within 30 minutes of diversion announcement.

Lost luggage

Our greeter helps you file the airline's lost-baggage report and waits with you through the process. Many travellers find this is the moment when fast track is most valuable — the standard counter can run 60+ minutes alone for lost-luggage claims.

Passport issue at immigration

Rare but possible. Our agent has direct contact with senior immigration officers and can escalate appropriately. Travellers with valid passport and VOA-eligible nationality should not encounter this.

Frequently Asked Questions

The greeter holds a sign with your name and the Bali Fast Tracks logo. You also receive the greeter's photo and name in your e-voucher 24 hours before arrival, plus their direct WhatsApp number — you can message them as your flight lands to confirm pickup details.
Yes, Bali Fast Tracks operates 24/7. Greeters are scheduled to all flights at all hours. Off-peak overnight arrivals (02:00–05:00) actually have shorter standard-flow lines (10–20 minutes), so you may want to consider Meet & Greet ($35) instead of full fast track unless you specifically want aerobridge meeting and priority lane.
Almost nothing. Walk where the greeter walks, hand over your passport when asked at immigration, identify your luggage at the carousel. The greeter handles documentation, queue management, and driver coordination. The only thing only you can do is the immigration officer's biometric fingerprint scan, which takes 30 seconds.
Yes. The lane is officially designated 'Diplomatic / Crew / VIP' and is used for diplomatic personnel, crew, and authorised VIP escorts. Bali Fast Tracks operates as licensed tour operator authorised to escort guests through this lane in cooperation with Indonesian immigration.
In most areas yes, but immigration counters are no-photo zones (this is standard at all airports globally). Your greeter will let you know which areas are photo-friendly. Many of our clients take a photo with the greeter at the arrival hall — this is encouraged.
